I will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in one of their Savannah view rooms. I saw on a different website that one of the Savannah's (Sunset) will not have any animals due to "acclimation". Is there an official Disney site I can verify th

    Hi Brent,

You are correct, at this time the animals have been removed from the Sunset Savannah at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  I was able to confirm that they are still on schedule, and hope to return all of the animals to the savannah by April 15, 2009.

As a Disney Vacation Club member, I was able to access their website which has updated information regarding this issue, however I was not able to locate this information on the official Walt Disney World website.  If you currently have a reservation for a savannah view for an arrival prior to April 15, 2009 this news should have been noted on your confirmation.  I suggest you call 407-934-7639 for updated information regarding what affect this may have on your savannah view reservation.

    I hope this helps!
