Hi we are staying at the animal kingdom lodge in May and I was wondering how easy it would be to get to the beach club for breakfast and roughly how long it might take?

    Hello Helen,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's always a complete pleasure for me to assist another Guest from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I am delighted to hEar you'll be staying at the beautifully themed Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge this coming May, I just love this gorgeous Resort with all it's wildness and close attention to African decor and detail. During your stay be sure to take a moment to walk out onto the Arusha Savanna viewing area which is located on the Lobby Concierge level to check out all the interesting and freely roaming animals such as Zebra, Giraffe and of course the pretty pink Flamingos!
You're going to love Disney's Beach Club Resort where Guests can enjoy a delicious character filled Minnie Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe or for Quick Service dining options there's also The Market at Ale & Compass and Beach Club Marketplace.
My favourite way to get around Disney property is always via Walt Disney World Bus Service; my family (especially my husband) loves the sheer convenience of not having to drive. Generally speaking Disney transportation runs from around 45 minutes prior to Disney Theme Park opening and for up to 2 hours after closing plus I would always allow for up to 1 hour to leisurely transfer from one Disney location to another. My top tip for Disney navigating is to use the Get Directions tab on the My Disney Experience Mobile app
