    We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in late September. I was wondering if the Safari View rooms are really worth the extra money? Can you see the animals really well from the safari view rooms or are they far away ? Thanks so much!

    Hi Kim!

    YES!  absolutely the savannah view rooms are worth it!  The animals are so close they are easy to watch and study; we've even heard their crunching sounds as they ate. 

    If you can request a floor that is in the middle, I think they afford the best views. 

    I truly believe the Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most amazing resorts with its rich theming within the resort to the wonder of  watching the animals.  It was actually difficult to leave in the mornings to go to the parks because watching the animals wander around was so rewarding.
