We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village for the first time. On our check out day, we wish to use the pools after we exit our room. Is there anywhere to shower and change once you check out of your room much like the Contemporary has?

    Jambo Melissa!

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village always makes for an especially beautiful Disney Vacation Club stay. We have enjoyed a few vacations at the Resort, and each time brings new and memorable experiences. I always love finding a nice relaxing spot to sit and take in the amazing view of the Savanna. And then, of course, there's the food and those amazing restaurants! I think it's fantastic that you'll be making the absolute most of your stay and enjoying the pools after your check-out. I'm happy to share that yes, the Samawati Springs Pool area does have convenient facilities for showering and changing as well as locker rentals, and you're welcome to use these amenities after your Resort check-out.

Melissa, here's wishing you a magical Disney Vacation Club stay.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
