    We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge in June. We were wondering does housekeeping have waffle irons you can borrow for breakfast? Are you allowed to bring your own to use?

    Welcome to planDisney Mike!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is so unique. Where else can you walk out the back door of a resort and see a zebra or giraffe just wandering around in their habitat! What an amazing place to stay!

    In a standard resort hotel room at Animal Kingdom Lodge, your room will have a mini-refrigerator and coffee maker. Due to safety issues, other small appliances, including waffle irons, may not be used. But as they say, Hakuna Matata, no worries! Stop by The Mara, the wonderful quick service restaurant inside the resort. Here, you can order delicious waffles. And to add to the fun, the waffles are in the shape of Mickey! Let's face it, everything "Mickey Shaped" tastes better! Browse the menu for all breakfast offerings. 

    If you are looking for an amazing dinner buffet at Animal Kingdom Lodge, make a Dining Reservation at Boma - Flavors of Africa. This buffet has all your favorites with an African flare. Save room for the Zebra Domes for dessert!
