Staying at animal kingdom lodge end of july. Our budget only allows for a pool view. Any particular floor, building, room numbers we should request? High up to avoid some of the noise? Any pool views that may give us a glimpse of one of the savannahs?

    Hello, Michelle,

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is such a wonderfully unique resort.  We make it a priority to visit the resort on every trip with all the amazing dining choices and spots to explore and watch the animals.  Don't worry that you have a pool view room.  Throughout the entire resort are many balconies where you can go to watch the animals, so you won't be missing out. I would prefer a room that is a bit higher than a ground floor room because you will likely be able to see more being higher up; however, the sound may still travel up to your room.

To help you actually see the different views, you can visit www.touringplans.com and do a search for View of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Once there, you can select the room type you have. You can also select other options as distance to transportation, the lobby, etc.  Once you do that, you'll see what rooms match those selections and then you can actually see a photo of what the view is and see which ones you prefer.  It is pretty amazing!

I hope this helps; please let us know if you have any further questions.  Have a magical trip!  -Kara
