We are staying in the Animal Kingdom lodge for 10 days at the end of April. Do we have to use a park entry to visit the attractions in the animal kingdom if we are staying in there?

Hi, Susan!   To enter any of the theme parks, Animal Kingdom included, you need to use a day of your park tickets.   To get to the Animal Kingdom from the Animal Kingdom Lodge, simply hop on a bus at the front of your resort.   While the Lodge backs up to the Savannah, it is actually a bit of a ride over to the park and not within walking distance.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort.  Try to book a dinner at Jiko or Sanaa if your schedule permits.   I hope you enjoy your stay!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
