We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will have our car with us. Our last kids are big fans of Lightning Mcqueen Would we be able to drive and park at Art of Animation to see all the Cars characters they have in the Car section of the resort?

    Hello Laura!

I love staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also love Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a fabulous Walt Disney World Resort to explore. I have had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort twice (once in a standard Little Mermaid room and once in a Finding Nemo Family Suite). I love the Cars Section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

Yes, you can drive over to Disney's Art of Animation Resort to explore it. Just tell the Cast Member at the security gate that you and your family wish to explore the Resort. I would recommend dining at the Landscape of Flavors which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner while you are there exploring. The Landscape of Flavors features five distinctive food shops, and it is similar to a food court, so each member of your family can choose different foods. The Landscape of Flavors is one of my favorite quick-service restaurants in Walt Disney World. Also, remember to check out the Ink and Paint Shop, located in front of the Landscape of Flavors Restaurant.

I hope that your family's exploration of Disney's Art of Animation is magical in every way!
