Hiya Ashley! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
Oh boy, you'll be headed out on your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few short weeks! Well, hold on to your hat, Ashley, because it is bound to be a wild ride with so much happening around Walt Disney World! One of my favorite new attractions is
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure over at
EPCOT, where you’ll be shrunk down to the size of Remy and his pals as you scurry around the bustling kitchen of Gusteau’s fabulous Paris restaurant. This 4D adventure really is a feast for the senses, so be sure to check it out while you’re there!
Now, on to your question! While there is
complimentary self-parking at
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for any Guests with an
Advanced Dining Reservation, the maximum time allowed to park is 3 hours. So, you would not be able to park there before your breakfast reservation and leave your vehicle there for the day as you head over to Magic Kingdom for some fun in the park.
Your best bet would be to park at the resort for your breakfast reservation, and then once you’ve finished your fabulous meal, you can hop back in your car and head over to
Magic Kingdom to leave your car for the day! While this may not be the news you were hoping for, it’s just a quick seven-minute drive between Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom Park, so moving your car won’t be too tricky or time-consuming.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I park my car somewhere, I almost always spend a few minutes wandering around trying to find it at the end of the day! That’s why I’m so excited about the fabulous new
Car Locator option available through your
My Disney Experience app. This brand new complimentary feature will allow you to save your parking information right in the app, so you don’t have to worry about remembering where you parked. How great is that? To use this feature, simply open your My Disney Experience app once you’ve parked, and click on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. From there, scroll down and select “Car Locator.” Then, if you have location permissions enabled on your phone, click on “Save Vehicle Location” to automatically add your parking information to the app. Alternatively, you can add the information manually by selecting “enter your vehicle location.” Then, when you’re headed back to your car after a fabulous day in the parks, you can just pull up the app and find your information waiting for you there! This really is going to save me from wandering around after a long day searching for my car! I can’t wait to give it a try!
Ashley, I hope your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation is a magical adventure! We hope to see you again soon to answer any other questions you may have!
See you real soon!
