    Jambo Kristin!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a truly unique and stunning resort! If this is your first time staying there, you are in for a real treat! From the moment you step into the lobby at Jambo House, you'll be amazed by the African artwork, the incredible savanna views, and the delicious food.

If you arrive before check-in time, you can stop at Bell Services and leave your bags with them while you explore the resort or enjoy lunch. Once your room is ready you can either pick up your bags yourself or call from your room and have them delivered to you. It's that easy!

I hope you take time to make reservations for all of the restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The buffet at Boma - Flavors of Africa gives guests the opportunity to be adventurous eaters, yet offers plenty of options for those who prefer more familiar dishes. Breakfast there is a great way to start any Disney day! You'll love the sweeping views of the savanna and the delicious food at Sanaa. Finally, Jiko - The Cooking Place is the perfect choice for a special night out.

If you aren't able to make lunch reservations for your arrival day, and those incredible restaurants don't have walk up seating, no worries. The Mara has some great counter service options, and you can get try the popular Zebra Domes for dessert!

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
