Hi Shelly,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is an amazing resort. The decor is beautiful and detailed, and the ability to see exotic animals outside of nearly every window is amazing! The safaris that take place at the Disney Animal Kingdom resorts, such as the Wanyama Safari and Night Safari, cater to older guests, so the minimum age to attend these is 8 years old. But do not worry, there are many animal experiences that your daughter can have while you stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village!
I suggest that when you arrive, you consult the recreation guide that you are given for your stay. There are many opportunities to interact with cast members and learn about the animals. There are almost always savanna guides available at the overlooks to discuss the animals that you see on the savanna. Other activities often include special sessions on flamingos, as well as times to learn about and help with the enrichment that the animals are given. Also, if you are considering an adult evening out, your daughter could stay at the Simba's Cubhouse Children's Activity Center. The
Children's Activity Centers at Walt Disney World include many fun activities, and Simba's Cubhouse includes a ground-level view onto one of the savannas!
Also, remember to head over to Disney's Animal Kingdom for more animal experiences. Of course take a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris, where you will ride a safari vehicle through many different areas see animals such as elephants, giraffes, and lions. When she was your daughter's age, my daughter loved taking the Wildlife Express Train out to Rafiki's Planet Watch, where she enjoyed petting animals at the interactive Affection Section.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Shelly!
