Jambo Linda and welcome to planDisney!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has quickly become a favorite of mine amongst the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. My friend and I visited
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to have
dinner at
Sanaa and I was really wowed by the beauty of the place. I hope you've planned a meal there because the Indian-style Bread Service was out of this world. Seriously who needs to cook with all the amazing places to eat around the place?!
But if you're serious about cooking Lisa, I do have to tell you that crockpots aren't allowed at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. It's for safety reasons and surely we don't want to see any locations at
The Most Magical Place on Earth go up in smoke. Luckily your hotel is equipped for you to create some magic of your own in the kitchen.
The Deluxe Studio Rooms each have a kitchenette complete with a little refrigerator and microwave. The 1,2 and 3 Bedroom Villas all come with a full kitchen set up with a stove, full-size refrigerator, the works. Plus those larger villas also have the luxury of a washer and dryer. After speaking with a Cast Member, I found out that there are grills available to be used at your hotel. You all could eat like kings with just a quick grocery delivery or a trip to the nearest grocery store!
Linda, don't miss out on some great dining options. Treat yourself to a lovely dinner at
Jiko - The Cooking Place which has just recently been resurrected from its hiatus post reopening. I know my fall trip will find me dining there. You are on vacation after all!
Happy planning!
Taylor
