We will be staying at Animal Kingdom Jambo House Villas next month for a week. I'd like to take advantage of the full kitchen. What is the best way to get groceries? Is delivery allowed. A cab to the store? Help.

    Hi Norma,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations! A week-long stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House sounds wonderful. Be sure to check the recreation guide that you are given when you check in for fantastic cultural, culinary, and animal activities at the resort.

Like you, I enjoy taking advantage of the full kitchen in a one-bedroom or larger villa at a Disney Vacation Club resort. I have good news for you: there are a couple of ways to get groceries delivered to you at Walt Disney World!

The first option, if you are a Disney Vacation Club member, is to order your groceries directly through Disney Vacation Club. To do so, go to the Disney Vacation Club website and log in as a member. Look for the tab for "Plan Vacations" and scroll down to "Pre-Arrival Checklist." Once you choose "Pre-Arrival Checklist," look for the tab to "Order Groceries." Once there, you will need to choose your resort and download the grocery order form. This form should be filled out and sent or faxed back in to arrive at least three business days prior to your trip.

Another option that will work regardless of whether you are a Disney Vacation Club member is to visit gardengrocer.com. This unofficial website allows you to order groceries to be delivered to your Walt Disney World resort.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Norma! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
