    Staying: Animal Kingdom Jambo House Savannah View Studio with hubby and boys 1 & 9 really want to see as many animals as possible how do we request a room? Which view is best? Can we get that and be near the elevator? Will spend 2 days at parks 3 at h

    Hi Lindsay,

    Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I love a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House.  The theme and decor are amazing, and there are so many fun and educational recreation offerings regarding culture and animals.

    I like to stay on a higher floor when I stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.  I think that from the higher floors, you can get a better view of the whole savanna.  From lower floors, it is harder to see the scope of the savanna.  I also like rooms that overlook the Arusha Savanna.  It is possible to request rooms that are close to an elevator.

    I suggest that you note any requests that you have for your room location on your reservation.  If you made this reservation through Disney Vacation Club, you can do so by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.  If you made the reservation through a travel agent, contact that agent.  If you made the reservation through Disney, call them at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) and a cast member there should be able to help you.  When you are within about a week of your vacation, I suggest that you call the resort directly at 407-938-3000 to ensure that your requests are noted.

    I have also found that sometimes when I check in and find that the room assigned to me does not meet my requests, I can inquire if there are other rooms available that do.  Sometimes, if you are able to wait a little while to check in, a villa will become available that meets your requests.  Please do note that while Disney will do their best to honor requests, they are not guaranteed.
