Hi Andrea,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you will be staying for a glorious two nights at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Complimentary resort transportation is included for all Disney resort hotel guests. We always download the My Disney Experience Mobile App to check transit options and estimated transit times while getting around the parks and resorts. To get to Epcot from Magic Kingdom, for example, we would take the monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center and then change monorails to get to Epcot.
There are a variety of ticket options available. If you have not done so already, check out the
Walt Disney World UK ticket site. I have also learned that online options may differ from what I can purchase by calling. Since you are in London, I suggest that you call 0800-16-90-730 to speak with a cast member who can provide the best options. My family typically purchases base tickets. These allow us to visit one park per day that we have valid theme park admission. We can leave and return to that one park multiple times per day. We have also used park hopper tickets. Park hopper tickets allow us to visit different parks in one day.
We prefer to do one park per day but will visit the same park more than once during our visit. For example, we might visit Magic Kingdom on day one and day five of our vacation. We have been able to do this with base tickets. On our last visit, we also went to Magic Kingdom one morning, then Epcot in the early afternoon and back to Magic Kingdom later in the day. To do so, we had Park Hopper tickets.
Andrea, I do think you should speak directly with a cast member over the phone about three day park passes - that person will be able to help you pick the best tickets for your family!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
