    I am staying at Animal Kingdom in December. I was told there is a grocery store there. I can not find anything about it so is there a grocery store at Animal Kingdom.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about my absolute favourite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!

    I’ve stayed at both Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. We usually like to have some food items on hand to have some breakfast in our room before heading off for our Disney Day. 

    Although we typically head to a local grocery store, such as Publix or do an online grocery order with either Amazon Fresh or Garden Grocer, in order to get these items, I’ve also purchased some grocery items in the convenience store section of the two gift shops located at these Resort hotels: Zawadi Marketplace (at Jambo House) and Johari Treasures (at Kidani Village). Those two locations are likely the “grocery stores” you’ve heard about! They have many basic items, including bread, milk, yogurt and cereal, as well frozen meals and other convenience foods, but the selection can be relatively limited.
