I am staying at All-Stars Sports in September. I will be taking a day to spend with family in the area. They will need to come to the resort to pick me up. What do we need to do to get them access? (I will not have transportation during my stay.)

Hello Deborah and thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You're going to just have a ball staying at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort this coming September, I'm so excited for you!
Every time my family and I visit Walt Disney World Resort we have dear friends who live in the Orlando area come to visit with us at our Resort, or sometimes simply drop by to pick us up and it's never been any problem at all.
When your family arrives in their vehicle at the Guest parking lot at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort they will pass through a security barrier operated by a Disney security officer.  The driver should explain the purpose of their visit to the officer on duty and may well be asked to show a valid ID before being permitted entry.
If I can be of any further help to you in planning your upcoming September vacation to Walt Disney World Resort please come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
