    Staying at the All-Stars Music resort in June; have 9:50am DR at Chef Mickey. After dining, is it best to take a bus, to the Magic Kingdom or the monorail,? This is a first time trip for kids and want to have the best "wow" factor when approachi

    Hi Kathy,

     

    You will just love dining with Mickey Mouse at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.  Don't forget your camera and autograph books to capture those precious moments!  After dining, I would take the Monorail around to the Magic Kingdom.  The Monorail is great to ride, and you will see the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian resorts along the way.  You will get a great view of the Seven Seas Lagoon as well.  My kids love riding the Monorail.  You'll spend lots of time of the buses going to and from the All-Star Music Resort.  Actually, there is no bus service from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom, only the Monorail, or you can walk the less than 10 minute walk.  Since this is the first visit for your children to Walt Disney World, I would go to Guest Services at any theme park or Downtown Disney and pick up their First Visit buttons.
