Staying at All-star sports (mom, dad, and 5yr son) 6/14/08-6/20/08. I dont know where to go on 14th since we arrive at noon. Which park should we try that saturday? We have park hopper & water. What about the 15th too?

    Shanel,

I happen to have a few answers for you since I've been going over our itinerary for the same dates. Actually, I've been obsessively going over my itinerary every night for weeks. But in doing so, I have some tips to share with you:

Saturday is a good day to tour Epcot because it's size can handle the crowds. Animal Kingdom might be a good park as many visitors begin leaving the Animal Kingdom in the afternoon and you would have until 8 p.m. to do some touring there. You'd be back to your resort early enough to get a good night's rest before your first full day at Walt Disney World.

I might also suggest going to Typhoon Lagoon's evening Extra Magic Hours. This would be a relaxing first night activity and you could return to your resort early or late, depending on your level of exhaustion from traveling.

On the 15th, I would head to the Magic Kingdom since you have a five-year old son that will be anxious to get there! This is a good park to tour in the morning, however there is an evening Extra Magic Hour that will bring in the crowds as the day progresses. Spend your morning here, then go back to your resort for a rest and/or swim in the All Star Sports pool. For the evening, I would finish up at the Animal Kingdom or see Illuminations at Epcot. If you are interested in any of the Star Wars events going on at Hollywood Studios, this would be a good afternoon/evening to see a few of the characters and perhaps watch the 7 p.m. Star Wars Hyperspace Hoopla show which showcases some of the Star Wars characters.

    Have a magical vacation!
