Hi. We are staying at the All-Star Music Resort and were thinking about having Christmas day breakfast at Samaa in AKL. Is there a transportation option that will get us there for 7:00am? Is a bus necessary to get to AK afterward or is it walking distance?

    Hi Jack,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

I absolutely love Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, so I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Christmas morning than to start your day with a visit to one of my favourite places in the world.

If you’re looking for the fastest way to get to an early morning breakfast dining reservation at Sanaa, then Disney’s Minnie Van Service would be the quickest way for you to get to your destination. This service is great and can be scheduled via the Lyft app, though there is an additional fee associated with its use. I’ve loved every ride I’ve ever taken in a Minnie Van; it’s like having your own personal (okay, red and polka dotted!) version of Cinderella’s Carriage!

If you’re looking to use Disney’s complimentary Resort Transportation instead, early morning bus transportation is typically available to Guests staying at the various Disney Resort Hotels, including Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. I would recommend asking your Resort’s Lobby Concierge for more information the night before your reservation. They should be able to give you an idea of the next morning’s schedule, and when you should be on the bus to make it to Sanaa in time for your reservation.

As for your plans once you finish your meal, you will need to take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as there is no way to walk there from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. But, don’t worry! It really is a short bus ride (only about 5-7 minutes, not including wait time), so you should be on your way to some more Disney fun in no time!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
