We are staying at the All-Star Music Resort during our stay. Do we get extra park hours in the morning because of that? At Magic Kingdom only, or do all the parks open early for resort guests?

    Hi Blythe,

Guests at all Walt Disney World resorts, including All-Star Music, are eligible to participate in Extra Magic Hours at all four theme parks. Sometimes Extra Magic Hours are in the morning, sometimes at night. You will find Extra Magic Hours of some sort every day of the week.

During Extra Magic Hours, only resort guests can enter the park early or stay in the park late to continue to enjoy rides and attractions. You will find them noted on the Walt Disney World calendar.

For example, during the week of your stay, you will find morning Extra Magic Hours at Hollywood Studios on Sunday, at Animal Kingdom on Monday and Saturday, at Epcot on Thursday and Magic Kingdom on Friday. Evening Extra Magic Hours occur at Epcot on Tuesday and Magic Kingdom on Wednesday. The new Pandora -- The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom has nightly Extra Magic Hours from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. through July 4.

Your MagicBand allows you access to rides and attractions during Extra Magic Hours.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Blythe. Please let us know if we can answer any other planning questions for you. Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner now. Enjoy!
