We are staying at All-Star Movies and visiting EPCOT. Our top priority is to ride Remy, so I am wondering if it’s worth trying to get to the International Gateway for early entry (and if that is realistic) or if walking through the front is as effective?

    Welcome to planDisney, Rachel!

Thank you for taking the time to send your very first question to us. Nothing makes us happier than helping fellow Guests plan pixie-dusted Disney memories!

Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the best way to enjoy all the excitement the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. Besides being immersed in Disney magic, Guests can also take advantage of complimentary transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, complimentary theme park and resort parking, and more.

I think entering EPCOT through the International Gateway entrance is worth it to enjoy Early Theme Park Entry and experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure before official theme park opening time. The International Gateway is located between the United Kingdom and France pavilions, so this will be the fastest way to get to this adorable attraction. Since you are staying at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, you can use bus transportation to travel to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and, from there, take a water taxi to EPCOT. Please plan approximately 1.5 hours when traveling between destinations using Disney transportation. If you want to get to the International Gateway as fast as possible, take a taxi or rideshare to Disney’s Beach Club Resort and then take a short walk to the International Gateway.

planDisney tip: Take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry and visit Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in the France pavilion after riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. If they are open, do not miss the chance to stop for their delicious fresh croissants and baguettes. I recommend checking the My Disney Experience app for hours of operation on the date of your visit.

I hope this information is helpful, Rachel! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
