I am staying at the All-Star Movies Resort. Has anyone stayed here and if so, do you have any tips to make my stay enjoyable. We are staying for 5 days. Thanks!!!

Hi, Roger! My family and I have stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort and enjoyed it very much. ASM is part of the three All Star Resorts (with Sports and Music), and together with Pop Century make up the Value Resorts for WDW. They are all located in the Animal Kingdom resort area and are also near Blizzard Beach. Cinema Hall is the resort center and houses a 24-hour front desk, a food court, gift shop, arcade and play area. Preferred rooms are available for an additional fee per night and are located in Toy Story, Fantasia and 101 Dalmatians. Although I do suggest paying a little extra in order to be closer to Cinema Hall (and transportation), I would not suggest staying in a room which faces the main pool (Fantasia Pool).  It can get loud! In fact, staying on the first floor of any value resort is not desirable unless that's your only option for mobility issues.

In addition, I always advise guests staying in one of the value resorts to definitely purchase the refillable mugs -- at least for the adults in your traveling party.  Since there are no coffee makers in the room, it's nice to grab a mug of coffee on the way to the bus stop in the morning and a soda, hot tea or more coffee on the way back to your room. Bring a couple of carbiners to easily connect your mugs to your park pack.  It's also a great way to split drinks during the day when you have a couple of extra mugs. Maybe this has helped you plan and let us know if you have more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
