We'll be staying at All-Star Movies and after we made our reservation, I discovered that we'll be there at the same time as the Pop Warner thing. I'm wondering, will we regret picking that hotel? Should we change to a different one??

Hi Lucie! Every Walt Disney World resort will offer something special for its guests and picking the best for your family is one of the hardest parts of planning a Disney vacation.

The All Star Movies Resort has larger then life items taken from many of the Disney movies we grew up with. It is fun to just wander around the different buildings to see them all and have your picture taken with them.

It is true that the Disney Value resorts are popular with the various groups that come to the parks because of the price point. It is the best value for all guests offering a great room and great amenities. If your budget allows you can consider bumping up to a Moderate Resort which generally will have fewer groups. My favorite moderate is the Port Orleans Riverside or French-quarter

My choice for a Value Resort is actually the Pop Century as it has a family feel over a group feel. You might consider seeing if this resort has some space available during your dates. But please understand that there is always something happening at Walt Disney World and many groups will be there for various reasons. Knowing where all of these groups will be is literally impossible. Most are very well behaved and chaperoned and it is a non issue.
