Terri from OR Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are staying at All-Star Movie resort in June. This is a postponed trip, postponed from 2020 originally. We have Magic Bands and want to use them on this trip. How can they get programmed?

Hey there, Terri, and welcome to planDisney! This trip has been a long time coming. I hope that it will be just as special as you have imagined! With the 50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing and new offerings being added continually, now is the perfect time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.

Terri, if your MagicBands were already linked to your My Disney Experience Account for your original trip, they should still be linked. Your MagicBands are tied to your individual My Disney Experience profile and not the reservation so that you do not need a new MagicBand each time you visit. But don’t tell my wife that! I still NEED a new MagicBand each trip to continue building out my collection!

There is a way to verify that your MagicBands are already properly linked in your My Disney Experience Account online. Hover over the “My Disney Experience” tab on the Walt Disney World homepage and select the “My MagicBands and Cards” option. The system will automatically prompt you to sign in to your account and once you are signed in, it will display your linked MagicBands. The MagicBands that you currently have should show up here. If not, you should also see an option to “Link” MagicBands to your account. Select that option and use the code on the back of your MagicBand to link them to your account. You will have to individually link a MagicBand to each member of your party.

I hope this helps, Terri! If you have more questions as you plan, come back and let me know

    Until Next Time,
