    Hi, We are staying at AKL for our 25 wedding anniversary & would love to try Jiko for the atmosphere, Hubby loves spicy food, I really dont. Would I be able to order something like a plain steak or would I have to stick to the menu. Many thanks Kath

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I immediately started to smile while reading your question! In my opinion, Walt Disney World Resort is the most magical place to celebrate a special occasion! My family has celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, retirements and so many more personal occasions with a vacation at Walt Disney World. My husband and I even got married at Disney's Wedding Pavilion!

    Your upcoming 25th wedding anniversary is going to be so unforgettable! Ooo, just thinking about Jiko - The Cooking Place makes my mouth water. I have wonderful news for you! You may select any item off the menu and ask your server to omit the spices. There is an Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon listed as an entrée for dinner that sounds like exactly what you might be looking for! (Please note, all menu items are subject to change.) I recommend talking with your server about your likes and dislikes. They will be happy to help you choose a delicious, non-spicy meal!

    When you check in to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, ask the Cast Member to give you and your husband celebration buttons! You can have the Cast Member write "25th Anniversary!" on them, and proudly wear your buttons throughout your vacation. Guests and Cast Members will go out of their way to congratulate you!
