    Hi! Staying at AKL 1\2 stan. 1\2 sav view for christmas 18-27 & stan. view 4/18-24 on pts. We wont have a car, where should i request a room, we dont want the ends of the resort? We have DDP and want to be close to the mara\boma & of course the bu

    Hi Heidi - I love the Animal Kingdom Lodge - in fact, I just returned from a few days staying there.  For a savannah view room, my personal preference is the rooms on the Zebra trail.  Don't worry about being too far - the walk to the bus and restaurants is actually shorter than it appears on the maps.

    Standard rooms are pretty much on the Giraffe and Ostrich trails, and the Giraffe trail is closer to the restaurants.
