Hi Stuart,
My family absolutely love early morning breakfast reservations - lets face it, there is no better way to start a day at the Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to have your camera at the ready when you enter the Magic Kingdom as you will have the opportunity to get lots of great photographs on Main Street U.S.A without many other Guests in the background.
In all of our visits, we have never once experienced any problems at all in using Disney's Complimentary Transportation to get us to where we need to be on time.
Just last October, whilst staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort, we had two 8:00 AM Advance Dining Reservations at restaurants located inside the Magic Kingdom. After checking with the Front Desk at our Resort hotel, we were assured that buses to the Magic Kingdom would start running at around 6:30 AM.
We made sure that we were at the bus stop by 7:00 AM at the latest on those two days and arrived at the Magic Kingdom in plenty of time for our dining reservations on both occasions.
Just to be on the safe side, I would recommend that you stop by the Front Desk at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort prior to the date of your first 8:00 AM dining reservation to ensure that the buses will be running early enough to get you to the Magic Kingdom on time.
You probably won't experience the
Magic Kingdom Welcome Show on these 2 days as you will most likely already be inside the Theme Park when it takes place. Do check the scheduled time on the Walt Disney World website though for the dates of your visit to be absolutely sure. To give you an idea, the opening ceremony generally takes place at 8:40 AM on days when the Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 AM.
Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
