I will be staying at AKL and really want a room that will give me a great up close of view of the animals. Can I get this from a villa at Kidaini Village or Jambo House? Would it be better to just stick with the regular lodge?

    Hello Karen!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The first thought that comes to mind when someone mentions Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the sweeping savanna view, so I completely understand your desire for the perfect storybook room. I am happy to tell you that all sections of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge & Villas: Jambo House and Kidani Village, offer savanna view rooms and they are wonderful. There is nothing quite like waking up in the morning and opening your blinds to the magnificent surroundings and animals. As long as you choose a "savanna view" accommodation, you should be pleasantly surprised. If you would like to view some photos from the villas, I recommend visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas DVC (Disney Vacation Club) page. They are quite impressive.

If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know. Until then, happy planning.

    Magical Wishes,
