We are staying at AKL Nov 10-14, 2010. My 5 year old LOVES trains and wants to ride the monorail. What is the best way to get from AKL to somewhere where we can ride it? Thanks for all your help - this is a great site

    Hi Jennifer,

When you exit the Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby, turn left. Down the walkway a bit is where you will wait for the buses. You'll want to take one to either Epcot or the Magic Kingdom. Once outside those Parks, you'll see the monorail entrances. You can get on at either of these points, and enjoy the ride all the way around. You'll have brief stops at 3 Resorts along the way. Feel free to hop off the monorail and browse, you can get back on at any time.

If your 5 year old loves trains, be sure to ride the ones inside both the Magic Kingdom ( Walt Disney World Railroad ) and Animal Kingdom Park ( Wildlife Express Train ). Click on those links for more information.

Hope this helps and enjoy your visit!
