Hello Moms! We are staying at AKL in May. We have a 9 am reservation for Keys to the Kingdom tour. What time do the buses start running in the morning? If they start at 8 am, would we have enough time to make it to our tour if we rode the bus from ALK?

    Hi Christina:

Disney's complimentary bus transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time.  So if the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9:00 am on the day in question, buses will be running from your Resort to the Parks by 8:00 am.  Remember to check Park hours that day.  The early bird catches the worm, so I would be waiting for your bus at Animal Kingdom Lodge by 8:00 am if not earlier.  Catching a bus at or close to 8:00 am will put you at the Park in more than plenty of time for your tour.  Of course, if you are anything like me and could use the extra sleep, taxis are generally waiting outside of the Resort if you get a late start.

    Enjoy your vacation.
