    Hi, Staying at AKL 4/28-5/5/09. Are there life vests available for the pool? I have a 5 and 7 year old. Also, can we use the pool and water park at Kidani Village (set to open on 5/1)? Thanks!

    Hi Diana,

    Yes and yes!  There are free life vests available for you to use while staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You will simply need a room key to "rent one out".  Regarding the pool at Kidani Village, I confirmed that assuming it opens on time, you would be permitted to use it.  The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of our favorite Deluxe Properties.  The ability to peek out a window, stand on a balcony or take a stroll and see African wildlife is truly amazing.  The lobby is magnificent, and the African music piping in makes you feel like you are thousands of miles away on safari.  Boma and Jiko are two of the most amazing restaurants on property.  The breads at Boma are amazing!
