    We are staying at AKL and would like to know if it would be easy to come back to the resort for lunch when we are at AK that day. Thinking it would be beneficial to get out of the sun and take a break. Is it a quick bus ride from AK to the lodge?

    Hi Anne!  

    The Animal Kingdom Lodge and Animal Kingdom park are very close to each other.  It is a fairly short bus ride to and from the resort.  Taking a break from the park to have lunch at the resort is an excellent idea.  Animal Kingdom usually feels like it's warmer than any other area at Walt Disney World.  You can even grab a counter service lunch and eat it by the pool to cool off and recharge before heading back out.
