JAMBO, Megan! It's great to welcome you back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm excited to hear you're planning a stay at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. With its gorgeous pool, amazing animals and Cultural Representatives all around property, you're going to feel as if you've really been transported to the savanna.
When my family and I visit the Walt Disney World Resort, we always take advantage of the
bus transportation to and from the parks. I love that as soon as I arrive in Orlando, I can relax and let someone else do the driving! For your stay, you will find an internal bus that runs between the two resort buildings. You will also find a walking path connecting these two. My husband and I have used the walking path and
it took us about 5-10 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Megan, when you're ready to hit the parks, there is
one bus for both buildings, but you will find a convenient stop right outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. Depending upon the time of day, your stop could be first or second, but then you'll be on your way to the Magic!
I hope this helps as you are dreaming about November and planning out your Disney days. Megan, I highly recommend building in some time to enjoy all that this resort has to offer including one of my absolute favorite restaurants,
Sanaa. This restaurant is a party for your senses in every "sense" of the word!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge also boasts some great additional programming like the
Starlight Safari where (
for a fee) you can climb aboard a jeep and take a private ride for up-close nighttime animal viewing. There are also tons of complimentary activities throughout the day; just ask a Cast Member at the front desk for a schedule!
Best wishes, Megan, for a pixie-dusted stay that will have you whistling Hakuna Matata long after you're home. Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other vacation planning questions you might have,
Lauren
