Staying at AKL - Jambo are any of the pool view rooms on the bottom floor

    Hi Mylinda!

If this is your first stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you are in for a treat. Upgrading from standard to pool view is a popular choice, as many guests are just thrilled with the location and proximity to the pools, hot tubs, lobby and bus stops at a relatively slight increase in rate over standard. The 136 pool view rooms are located on floors 1-4. I have heard of guests choosing pool view rooms resulting in a view of thick, lush foliage or Flamingo Pond, so it's important to note this selection does not necessarily guarantee a direct, unobstructed view of the pool.

I'd suggest speaking directly with Disney Reservations to list your preferences. Although not guaranteed and always based on availability, Disney Cast Members do their very best to accommodate your requests. They can be reached at (407) 939-7675.

Hakuna Matata, Mylinda! Your vacation is bound to be practically-perfect in every way.

P.S. Don't forget to book your Advanced Dining Reservations at Boma, Jiko or Sanaa, a few of the very best dining options in all of Walt Disney World Resort!
