We are staying at AKL Jambo House but were thinking about checking out the Kidani Village pool on one of our down days at the hotel. Is it too far to walk or is there transportation on property between the two areas?

    Jambo Sara!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for the great question.

So not only can you easily swing on over to Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village to visit the Samawati Springs Pool, you absolutely must! With its 128-foot long slide, zero depth entry area and Uwanja Camp water playground for the kids, you wouldn't want to miss it.

Traveling between the two buildings is simple thanks to a quick and convenient shuttle van. We have never waited more than just a few minutes and the ride itself is less than 5-minutes. When you are finished with your time in Kidani Village and are ready to journey back to Jambo House, you can use the shuttle or climb aboard any bus bound for the theme parks; they all stop at Jambo House before heading out. You also have the option to make the 10-15 minute trek on foot, but that might be more fun heading to your pool day than walking home from it.

I hope that helps, Sara!  Please come back and visit with any other questions.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
