While staying at AKL, we will be having both breakfast and dinner at Boma. Which beverages are included in the buffet price? For example, the Kenyan press pot, the juices, the specialty cocktails, and the other choices listed on the Disney Dining menu?

    Hi Karen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question. I often have a tough time choosing between enjoying breakfast or dinner at Boma: Flavors of Africa, but I’m happy to hear that you’ve eliminated that dilemma by eating there twice!

Because specialty drinks are now included with the Disney Dining Plan, from what I understand, the various specialty juices and Kenyan press pot of coffee is now included if you choose to use your table service dining entitlements at breakfast.

As for dinner, while beer and wine are definitely included, I’ve heard reports that specialty cocktails aren’t always included with your meal at dinner (it depends on the type of cocktail you’d like to choose and there seems to be a fair bit of discretion). I highly recommend that you ask your server what is, and isn't included, once you're seated for your meal. One thing’s for sure: even if they are included, you’ll have to choose between having a cocktail, or a glass of wine/beer or the press pot as part of your meal’s entitlements.

I hope my answer helps you plan your stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
