Staying at AKL for first time, booked Arusha view, but I wouldnt like to be also be close to pool and Lobby if possible, looking at the map Zebra trail would be best right? Can you see giraffes from there? They are my favorite animal!

Hi Tasha! Fabulous resort choice you have there! Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge replicates the grand safari lodges of Africa. All rooms have balconies though views vary. Last summer my family stayed in a Deluxe Savannah View Room in the main Lodge. We absolutely loved watching exotic animals, including giraffes, from our balcony and many of the resort's viewing areas. I would recommend requesting any odd numbered Savannah View Room on the third or fourth floor of the Zebra Trail overlooking Arusha Savannah. Please keep in mind room requests are not guaranteed. However, Cast Members will try to accommodate you based on the resort's occupancy, and other factors, at the time of your arrival. You will absolutely fall in love with Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!
