Hello Moms~ Staying @ AKL for the first time in April. Wondering how long the walk is from Jambo pool to Kidani pool and where is the walkway? Any other tips for making the most of our resort days/nights w/ DD's 8&9 are very much appreciated! Thanks

    Hello again Lynne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As you know from one of my last answers, I absolutely love Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Although it’s about a 10 minute walk to go from Jambo House to Kidani Village, it’s about a 20 minute walk between the the two pool areas because of where they’re located within the Resort. The walkway is a sidewalk that will be well indicated on the Resort Map that you’ll get when you check in.

Some of the fun and unique activities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are: flamingo feedings at the Flamingo Pond, wildlife games in the Sunset Lounge, African games and crafts at the Uzima Pool Deck (at Jambo House), animal viewing with night vision goggles and nightly African storytelling at the Arusha Rock Fire Pit. In addition, your kids can spend some time at Simba’s Clubhouse, with activities and food designed just for them… while you go have a delicious meal at Jiko - The Cooking Place

Please note that not all of these programs may be offered during your stay. For more information, please consult the Resort Guide that you’ll also receive at check-in or ask the Concierge Desk for more information during your stay.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
