    My DH and I are staying at AKL 2/09/12-2/19/12. Can't wait!!! My research shows the average temp for this time of year at 74 degrees. Based on that, how doable will the water rides be, like Kali River Rapids and Splash Mountain?

    I had the pleasure of staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in February and the temperature was fabulous! I rode Kali River Rapids and Splash Mountain. I do have to say that Splash Mountain isn't really a very wet ride so you should be just fine. I've seen just a few people exiting with wet clothes. Now as for Kali... It all depends on where you are sitting at a specific time. I won't ruin the surprise but you may get very wet!!! My mom did!! She got soaked when we went on the ride last Summer! I have been told that the water is heated so that would be a plus on a chilly day...  I hope you and your husband have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
