We are staying at the AKL in Aug. We want to use Simba's Clubhouse for my 4yr old. What is offered, and what is an appropriate amout of time for them to spend there? We would like to have dinner and maybe catch fireworks.

    Hi Michael,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm actually planning on using Simba's Clubhouse for the first time during our trip in September...so I can tell you I've done some research!  From what I have gathered, children ages 4 to twelve are welcome (must be potty trained).  Currently the price is $11.00 per hour (per child) and there is a two hour minimum.  There is a 24-hour cancelation policy.

This is a group childcare setting and some of the activities are movies, crafts, arcade games, dolls, coloring etc.  I would suggest stopping by BEFORE the day you intend to use the service.  Have your child take a look around and hopefully you will be able to gauge if this will be a good comfortable place for them.  Personally, my four year old probably wouldn't last longer than the two hours, especially if it's bedtime.  The clubhouse is open from 4:30 P.M. until Midnight, so there are plenty of hours they can be there, but every child is different so I can't give an fair judgement on what would be appropriate.

It is highly recommended that you make advanced reservations by calling 407-939-3463.

    Hope this helps!
