We are staying at AKL in April. I am trying to find out about the pools hours. I have seen many things from 10am-8pm to 24 hours with limited lifeguard hours.

    Welcome back, Richard!

My family loved spending afternoons at the Uzima Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge- Jambo House during one of our visits to Walt Disney World Resort. My young Mouseketeer enjoyed the zero-depth entry and laughed with delight watching his cousins scream as they zipped down the 67-foot waterslide. In my experience, lifeguards have been on duty during posted pool hours.

Currently, pools at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (Uzima and Samawati Springs Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village) operate from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. However, it is important to note that pool hours and lifeguard availability can vary by pool and are subject to change without notice. Be sure to check the Resort Recreation Calendar in your arrival packet or ask a Cast Member for exact hours during your stay.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions you may have before your April visit.

    Have a magical day!
