    We are staying at AK lodge, could you tell me how long it takes to get to the parks, using the Disney transportation system?

    Hello, Kari!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a beautiful resort where one can easily forget that they are nestled in the state of Florida.  The sights and sounds are truly amazing!  Make sure to take some time to view the African art that is displayed around the resort.  I cannot say enough about this resort.  You and your family will love it!

    Buses run approximately every 20 minutes.  Once on board, you can expect a 10 to 15 minute commute to a Disney Park.  Disney's Animal Kingdom is the closest park, so you can expect a much shorter commute.

    My favorite park is the Magic Kingdom and I highly recommend catching the Main Street Philharmonic at Storybook Circus.  This legendary marching band will have you dancing as you enjoy some great Disney classics.  Trust me!  You do not want to miss this.
