Welcome to your
first visit to Walt Disney World! You are going to be amazed by all the magic! Make sure to stop by Guest Services to pick up your "First Visit" button so you will be able to commemorate your exciting vacation.
Your plan to bus to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and walk to EPCOT is something you are able to do. It is a lovely walk, clearly marked along
Disney's BoardWalk, but it is about a mile between locations, so you will need to plan on about 25-30 minutes for your trek. Also,
rented strollers may not leave the theme parks, so if you have a little one you may want to bring a stroller from home as this is a long walk.
You have a few options! One option is to take your
Animal Kingdom Lodge bus directly to EPCOT. During your day, while you are in the back of the park (between England and France pavilions) you can pop out to see the Boardwalk via the International Gateway entrance. This might even be a nice mid-day break to relax on the beach for bit. You will not be able to take the rental stroller with you, but you may leave it near a stroller parking area in the park and retrieve it when re-entering the park.
Another option if you want to start at Hollywood Studios is to take the
Disney Skyliner or a
Friendship Boat to reach EPCOT. It may not be faster than walking, but at least you will avoid that long walk with a little one!
There are so many
transportation options in Walt Disney World as there is over 40 square miles of magic with 4 theme parks, miniature golf,
Disney Springs, and over 20 Disney Resort Hotels. If you have any trouble getting to a location, you will find friendly Cast Members who will point you in the right direction!
