    Hi! We are staying at AK Jambo House from Jan. 27th -31st. We will be celebrating my birthday while we are there, and looking for a great place to have a celebration dinner with our two small children (4 and 19 mos). We will be at HS park for the day

    How lucky are you to be celebrating your birthday at WDW!  I think the 50s Prime Time Cafe is an absolute hoot to dine at with children, especially for a celebration.  The cast members are so much fun there as they remind you to keep your elbows of the table and to clean your plates.  

    If you'd prefer something more toned down, The Hollywood Brown Derby has delicious food and the feeling of the Golden Age of Hollywood, but is still appropriate for children. In fact as I began planning our next trip, it was the first restaurant my husband wanted me to include in our dining plans. 

    If you'd like to celebrate your birthday with Disney characters, the Garden Grove at the Swan Resort has dinner with characters.  The restaurant is just a boat ride away from Disney's Hollywood Studios.
