    We're staying at AK in early March. What time do the safaris start, and where would be a good place to eat an early breakfast. We have a three and a half year old with us!

    Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of my most favorite places to stay at in Walt Disney World.  The African themed resort is so detailed and exquisite.  You fill just love walking around and seeing all the animals and hidden gems of the resort as well as the Hakuna Matata Playground and pool.  You may also want to look into Simba's Cubhouse Children's Activity Center for more fun for your child.  Usually the Kilimanjaro Safari will begin when the park opens.  In the month of March, this is 9am except on the days when there are Extra Magic hours and the theme park will open at 8am.  I recommend an early safari or one that is in the late afternoon.  The animals are more active during the cooler temperatures of the day.  Most of the safaris will end around 4:30pm.  A wonderful breakfast option at Animal Kingdom is Tusker House as this will be a character breakfast.  Your child will love meeting Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, and their friends.  Be sure to bring an autograph book and camera to capture those magical moments!  Another option will be a quick service meal at The Mara at your resort.  Breakfast is served starting at 7am.  The Boma is a table service restaurant at Animal Kingdom Lodge as well.  They start serving at 7:30am.   I know you will love the staying at this resort and will have a magical vacation, Michelle.
