We r staying at airport hotel the night before cruise, & r using Disney bus 2 get 2 Port Canaveral. When I do online reg, do I pick a bus time? Do I pick a port arr time, or is one assigned? What is the earliest I can do?

Welcome aboard, Lori! I think it's a great idea to fly in the day before your cruise and stay at the airport. This ensures that even if your flight gets delayed, you'll have time to get to Orlando without the worry of missing the ship.

Since you'll be staying at the airport and using the Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation, you might want to go ahead and plan to take one of the first motorcoaches to the port. The motorcoaches usually begin heading out around 10:00 a.m. for the 45-minute to hour long ride to Port Canaveral. Bring your luggage from your hotel and meet up at the Disney Cruise Line check-in desks, near the Magical Express in the airport. There they will check you in, assign you a cruise boarding number and get you on your way. This ground transportation does cost $35 per person each way and must be booked in advance, but is well worth it. Since Disney takes care of all of the details, you just sit back and relax.

You will still choose a port arrival time when you do your online check-in, as well as note your flight information. But, even if your arrival time isn't until noon and you arrive at 11:00 or so, you won't be turned away. Be sure to pack a few snacks for the kids in case they get hungry waiting in the port terminal. Watch a Disney cartoon or two, get a photo with Captain Mickey and soon you'll be boarding the ship!

Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail, Lori!
