We are stayiing at the Wilderness Lodge and have a breakfast reservation at the Cape May Cafe at 9:50a.m. What's the best way to get there? My husband will be using an ECV and we'll have our twin 6-year old boys. Thanks.

    Hi Lourdes!

My son and I love the Wilderness Lodge Resort!  We had the privileged of staying there twice last year!  The there are lots of ways to get from the Wilderness Lodge Resort to Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort.  The quickest one would be to take a taxi which does cost money (typically under $20.00 including tip).  You would have to get a taxi that is a van and you may be able to put the ECV in the back of the van (typically the back seat is out for luggage and things).  A taxi will take about 20 minutes for this particular journey.

The best way that I have found using Disney transportation would be take a boat (every other boat is capable of transporting an ECV) or a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take a bus from the Magic Kingdom to the Beach Club Resort.  You will need to plan for an hour to an hour and a half of travel time with this method.

A third option would be to be take a boat or a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Take the Express Monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then transfer to a Monorail going to Epcot.  Then you would have to walk through Epcot to the International Gateway (Epcot's back door between the United Kingdom Pavilion and the France Pavilion) and walk or take the Friendship Boat to the Beach Club Resort.  You would need the park hopper option on your park tickets to enter Epcot and it is a lot of walking for young children. The Monorails are more ECV friendly (easier to get on and off) than the buses.  Keep in mind this method could take up to 2 hours to accomplish.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical.

    Keep Dreaming Big!
