I stayed at the yacht club and they had comfortable beds. Please can you tell me if they have the same mattresses at port Orleans ? Or do deluxe resorts have different mattresses ?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Nicola. Thanks for stopping by with your question.

I also find that the mattresses at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are just heavenly. I can't tell if it's because I am just so tuckered out after a long day at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks or if it's because there is actual pixie dust sprinkled on the mattress but I sleep fantastically while I am there.

While I just stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside just a few months ago, I didn't check what mattress they are currently using. Luckily for us my friend and fellow panelist, Ashley,  happened to take a picture of the mattress tag last time she was there. Currently, at Disney's Port Orleans Resort, the room's mattress is Sealy Posturepedic Sayer Prolux Ltd. Plush Pillowtop, a custom bed just for Walt Disney World. I can say with confidence that it is very comfortable! Right now, at Disney's Yacht Club you can find a specialty Beautyrest Disney Pillow Top mattress that I find equally as comfortable. So, they are different but I don't think you'll notice it all that much, Nicola.

I hope this helps! I'm sure whichever Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you stay at next, you'll find yourself slipping off to dreamland in no time.

If you have other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
