I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge, Carribean Beach Resort, Port Orleans and last time at the Polynesian. Will I be very disappointed if we stay at an All-Star resort this next time? Trying to save some money. But we sure LOVED the Polynesian.

    Lisa:

    Hello to my fellow Mississippian!

I stayed at the All-Star Music just last week and have to answer, 'no,' you won't be disappointed, especially if you stay at the Music or Movies side and enjoy the resort in the evening.

My room was located in the Broadway section of All-Star Music, and I found myself charmed by the "street" outside the building and cozy "park" near its end, complete with trees and a bench, as if I were in a Brownstone in New York City. As I made my way to the Food Court one evening, the fountain, similar to one you'd find in an iron-fenced courtyard in New Orleans, brought detailed theming to the Jazz section. My room was freshly painted and, although basic, was themed and included a refrigerator and privacy curtain just like the moderates. What you'll find BETTER than the Poly is that your sink is located outside the bathroom, a bone of contention in my large family.

As with anything, you get what you pay for. Yes, the rooms are smaller than the Poly but if saving a few dollars on this trip allows you to take in an extra day, or a Character meal or simply make the trip at all. you won't regret it.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
